When they realize that they are being dragged into a deal with the devil, both metaphorically and in reality. It was also directed by George Miller, so it’s easy to see the similarities between the two films. The a-list cast of cher, Michelle Pfeiffer, Susan Sarandon and Jack Nicholson makes this a great watch. The chemistry between all the characters is great and it’s just fun to watch them. Miller seems to love making movies like three thousand years ago, and this one is a must-have if that’s what you’re looking for.

1.The King of Fishing (1991)

Lost Jeff Bridges in life as a radio DJ? Robin Williams as a crazy homeless man who might be the healthiest of us all? Will not. After a false remark causes one of his interlocutors to commit murder, Lucas (Bridges) gets into a spiral. He meets Parry (Williams) and after hearing her story, he decides to help her win the woman of his dreams. He believes that this can lead not only to his salvation, but also to his past life.

Parry suffers from hallucinations about the “Fisher King” and Lucas has to decipher what all this means in order to help Parry. Great performances and a great role that makes Williams give everything with her crazy exaggerated personality. It’s a good choice for everyone involved, including director Terry Gilliam. He is known for some ideas that go well with the stories he carries on the screen.

This corresponds exactly to the desired topic. Bedazzled is an often overlooked comedy starring Brendan Frasier and Elizabeth Hurley. Fraiser plays Elliot, an annoying IT consultant who is in love with one of his colleagues. he says he wishes she was in his life and stumbles upon a beautiful woman, played by Elizabeth Hurley. She pretends to be the devil and offers seven vows to help her. She just wants her soul. Every wish he makes is technically correct, but of course it comes with a few nasty conditions. The film is a lot of fun, and Frasier’s comedic charm really comes to the fore.

Big Fish (2003)

Tim Burton has brought to life this heartwarming story of a father telling his son about his amazing life as the last days of his life pass by. All his life, Will felt separated from his father, who was a traveling salesman. He told Will about all the amazing things that had happened to him during his absence. He eventually considers them made-up stories to explain his long absence, but begins to hate his father. As they chat and reminisce about his last days, Will begins to realize that the stories can actually be real. The images of the film are stunning, and Ewan McGregor as a young father in the stories is fantastic in the role. A funny historical film that makes even the most hardened moviegoers cry.

In The Netherlands (2005)

Aaron Eckhart plays Zach, a psychiatrist who leaves a PRESTIGIOUS position to take a job in a private mental hospital. What he does not tell anyone is that his father spent many years there as a patient. During his time there, he wrote a children’s book titled Neverwas about a magical Kingdom and the heroes who lived there.

The more time Zack spends in the institution, the more he begins to delve into what happened to his father when he was there. He begins to wonder if Neverwas was just a story. This movie has a great cast, but no one seems to have heard about it. The film stars Nick Nolte, Ian McKellen, Brittany Murphy, William Hurt, Alan Cumming, Vera Farmiga and Jessica Lange. If you’re looking for movies like Three Thousand Years of Nostalgia, you should definitely check this one out.

The Green Knight (2021)

Based on the Arthurian legend, the Green Knight tells the story of Sir Gawain as he assumes the emerald figure. After defeating the knight, he is told that he has a year before the knight returns to test the man’s character again. Gawain is then tested on his journey to meet the Knight again. The story is fantastic and the photos of David Lowery are stunning. Do you control your destiny or do you control your destiny? A fantastic watch and highly recommended. The fantastic graphics make it a movie like three thousand Years of Longing and hopefully we will see more of it in the future.
